cylinder head

i had millkshake coolant and white exhaust coming from my '85 325e- I thought it was the head gasket so i pulled the head off and.... no problems with the gasket... no warpage......no cracks.....
what else could have caused these symptoms?

have the head pressure tested for cracks, if thats ok then could be a cracked block and the engine needs to be replaced.
