I just purchased a 95 bmw. I just took it out on the highway. Everything seemed to be fine until I started turning the wheel to the right at higher speeds. It didnt happen every time but became more frequent. I can only describe the noise as a low grumbling rattlie. Where do I start?

Thank you for your donation and for your description of the problem. The problem is most likely a wheel bearing noise, the left one is the possible culprit. Lift the left wheel off the ground and give it a spin, any rumble heard or felt will confirm the diagnosis. They are not difficult to install, they require a puller for the bearing race, they often get stuck.
