1997 BMW 318is. 182000km. My car has developed a rough idle in nuetral and low gear - instead of idling at about 900rpm it is idling betwen 500rpm and 1000rpm, with a tendency to settle down around 500 rpm. It is more difficult to start and needs gas to stop it from stalling while idling. No problem in higher gears. Any idea as to the problem?
