I purchased this Montana from a friend.
He says it got overheated and had a blown head gasket.
While looking over the vehicle I found that he had wired in a switch direct for the fan.
One wire was to the positive battery terminal and he had some type of plug in going to the fan plug in and the other wire to the switch.
It looks like one of the cooling fan maxi fuses might be burned out also one of the fan relay fuses was missing.
Also, the car had a drained battery when I got it.
I out a brand new battery in it and unhooked the fan switch he had wired in and drained the radiator to avoid getting any water inside the combustion chambers just in case.
I tried to start it but it turned over but would not start
Was wondering if maybe the fuses or relays might have something to do with the no start.
Or maybe something might need reset after it overheating.
I checked the oil and there is no oil or coolant mixed in it.
Could it possibly be something other than a blown head gasket?
It does have a safe mode that it goes into when the vehicles overheated but I am not sure how far it was driven after it got hot.
Thanks for reading this!

Start with a compression test, if the engine got really hot the rings can soften and loose wall pressure causing low compression and this can be a reason for no start with an over heated engine.
