At first the A/C light would blink 3 times even when it was hot outside and then over time it stopped blowing cold. Compressor is working but cycles on an off every few seconds, it’s full of Freon, the actuators are not clicking and I have air flow from the vents so I don’t think it’s that either. Condenser fan is working. Half of the high pass tube is ice cold and sweating so for some reason it’s not blowing the cold air in the cab. I also noticed that I have to crank the heat up to 90 before the actual heat would come on and then I would have to drop it to 65-70 before the A/C would come on. It tries to cool a little when I sit idle but blows hot when I drive. Now it’s just blowing hot.

Good morning,

What are the high and low side readings of the Freon pressures at idle and at 1,200 RPM's? I need to see those readings to be sure that system is working correctly.

You can rent a set at a parts store or maybe borrow one from someone.

This is where we start to find the issue.
