Assuming this is a manual system and you haven't stated that, the resister get's it's power on the orange wire from the 30amp HVAC fuse in the underhood junction box.

The circuit is very simple. You should be using a test light and test for power on both sides of the fuse I told you to.

OK, we're just going in circles here. I don't think you really tested this. One of the points I asked you to check was at the resister.

If you have power on both sides of the fuse but not at the orange wire at the resister, then that orange wire is broken somewhere between the fuse and the resister because it's a straight shot.

Alright so this is what ive found the orange wire from the fuse panel goes to the ignition and has power where it is soldered to the switch I haven't got the switch off yet. I went back to the resistor to chase the orange wire from there and it doesn't appear to go back to the fuse box it has another conector at the other end of it for rear air which my truck does not have. Sorry if I get pissy from time to time wiring is not my forte with cars I can do everything else no problem but wiring sends me to a pissed off place

I can see that. I don't know what switch you are talking about. The orange wire goes directly fo that fuse to the resister.

Look, you're chasing the wrong fuse. You're not even in the right fuse box. I clearly told you the HVAC fuse in the underhood fuse box.
