I installed a new blower motor, and it sounds like it's rubbing against something. I removed the blower to inspect the housing. Nothing inside. I turned it on with it removed and it's as quiet as a mouse, but when I reinstall it, it makes sounds like it's rubbing against something.

The blower motor cage must be misaligned, or you have something inside the HVAC housing that has moved and is connecting the fan blade. Make sure the fan is completely down on to the blower motor because if it is up too far it will make noise as it contacts the plastic inside the housing. Compare the new blower to the old one to confirm the issue. Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
