Where is the Blend Door Actuator located?

I am trying to find where this is located. I think it must be bad because the one side blows cold air, and the other side is blowing hot air and both controllers are set at the same temperature.

Hi,

On this vehicle, there are two air temperature actuators. One is for the left side and the other is for the right.

I attached pics below showing the locations. Note: In pic 2, the arrow pointing at number 1 is for the left side. The number 2 part is for the right.

If you are not able to control the temperature on both sides, let me know. It would be odd for both actuators to fail at the same time.

If I install one myself, do I need to use a scan tool? Or do I just take the old one off and put the new one on?

Hi,

I just read through the procedure again. It indicates to install in the reverse order of removal. With that being said, it shouldn't require any programming.
