I do have dual temperature control. As for whether it was the actual blend door actuator, the one that I removed and replaced was the one immediately above the cabin air filter directly behind the glove box. See the attached photo. When I had the old actuator off and disconnected, I did not hear the clicking noise. However, I didn't open close the doors or start/stop the car to see if I could trigger the clicking noise with the part off. Once I put the new part on, I opened/closed the door and started/stopped car to test it, and that is when I discovered that it still made the clicking noise. When it was making the noise, that is when I put my hand on the replacement part while it was installed and could feel it ticking. I didn't put my hands anywhere else to see if I could feel it other than there, but it did feel as though it was coming from this part. Given that the replacing it did not stop the ticking, I removed the replacement part and put the old one back on. It will make the clicking noise when I open the door and at random just sitting there. I noticed for the first time yesterday that when I adjusted the A/C, it made the clicking noise. It clicks 8-10 times then stops. This clicking problem only started a week ago.
