No I dont even have the grip to attach the scanner. Can u tell me reasons for this.I think as the fuel rail is retuenless and the fuel pump keeps on pumping fuel which might be the cause?

A returnless fuel rail needs a intank fuel pump with pressure regulator otherwise the pressure would be too high at idle.

You can put any fuel pressure regulator as long as it can regulate correctly.

The vacuum hose can be from any part of the intake manifold after the throttle plate.

There are courses available for vehicle repairs.

Without a vacuum hose, the fuel pressure at idling would be too high and that would result in too rich a mixture.

Sorry I don't have any links for automotive courses but if you search around, you should be abkle to find one. It is best to get an acedemy or school near you place of residence as automotive repairs needs to be hands on and not via the web.

You already have the engine in, do you still want to change?

For the vacuum hose, there should be available lines that you can tap from. On the manifold you should fine at least one or 2 that is suitable. If not, you can use an adapter and tap it from the PCV hose.

The picture is not going to be relevant as I might not be able to know which has vacuum. You only need to find out which port has vacuum when engine is idling.
