I have put on 3 alternators and 1 new battery and one ignition switch. I just put the third alt. Back on after having it tested at autozone and it passed with 14.5 volts. After putting it back on, ran the car for 10minutes the turn signals quit the wipers almost stopped just like the alt. Was not working I have cleaned all terminals checked for bare wires. I'm at a lost and need help Thanks Ed

Ed:

Have you checked to see if the power from the alt is making it to the battery? Using a volt meter, simply check the battery voltage which should be around 12v. Start the engine and check it again. Running, it should be around 14v. Do that and let me know what you find. If there is no change, the power isn't getting to the battery from the alt. You may have a bad fusible link. That is the wire that takes power from the alt to the battery. If looks like a regular wire, but it is designed to function as a fuse. If too much power goes through, it will burn out just like a fuse does.

Let me know what you find.
