Ball joints

Someone else is working on my truck and needs replacing the ball joints the upper and lower and one of the old hubs he is putting back on. He said the new hub it does not fit. Why would the new ones not fit? After all that is what he said the problem was to begin with. By the way I hate people working on my cars!

I am not following the logic. There are three different wheel bearing assemblies available. One is for four-wheel-drive trucks. One is for a two-wheel-drive truck with rear-wheel-anti-lock brakes, (RWAL), and one is for two-wheel-drive trucks with 4-wheel anti-lock brakes. You probably have the wrong bearing.
