Removed the bolts for the lower arm because it's bad, can't get the ball joint off of it and it seems very loose so i want to remove it. I removed the snap ring from bottom and hammered the ball joint up but it's budging out.

Hi,

Are you referring to the lower front ball joint? Can you upload a pic of what you are working on?

As far as the ball joint, is it stuck in the control arm or the steering knuckle? If it is in the arm, you will need a ball joint press. Also, often times the control arm is damaged and replacement of the arm and ball joint need does at the same time.

Let me know. Also, you may find this link of interest.

Let me know.
