Ball joint removal

Been fooling with this car for 2 days, nothing is working as far as the ball joint coming out. I have a press but due to the shape of the knuckle not able to line it up vertically. Used the ball joint removal kit broke first one, bought second one, but no set up makes sense as this one needs to go out up not down from the knuckle. the picture that comes with the kit does not work because the upper part has the ball joint where the nut goes. Please let me know what works here.

You need the correct cups in order to get it out and back in.

I attached the process that includes the special tool numbers. I am sure you can find these cups online but you may be able to cross reference them to another supplier or the kit that you have. If you have comparable ones then this shows the set up they need to be in to get it out and back in.

Unfortunately there is no other way to get them out with out damaging the knuckle. So we need the correct ones in order to get it completed.
