Hey guys, okay this is what I have. No crank, no start, no transmission gear indicator. There's no box around PRNDL. And I have the solid little red security light on. I've checked all the wires and grounds. That's not it. I changed the transmission position sensor and still no gear indicator. It's probably the PCM or the skreem module, but I don't know how to find out which one is bad. Can you help me. I have tried two keys and they don't start the vehicle, but I can remotely open my doors etc. The key dance does not work. The cluster test comes up with code e100 and e100.6. When I jump the relay the starter turns. Again I just don't know how to narrow it down between the PCM or skreem. Does this sound correct?

Hello,

This sounds like a bad TIPM which is common. To be sure we need to do a CAN scan which you can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $60.00. here is a video of the job being done and instructions on how to replace the TIPM in the diagrams below:

The TIPM self initializes so it is easy to replace. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

I thought the 2005 was a pci bus system. Not a can bus system. I thought 2007 was the first can bus system?
