Hi,
First, the power-train warranty ran out at 60,000 miles. Before anyone works on the truck, contact a dealer and see if they will help you considering the problem started before 60,000.
If they refuse, I would then have the computer scanned to see what trouble codes are stored. This is to determine if it is worth trying to push the issue with Jeep customer relations. If it is something simple, then take care of it, but it could be related to the transmission control module (TCM) or an internal transmission issue.
Last, if you have it scanned, please write down the diagnostic trouble code or codes that are retrieved and let me know what they are. With those, I can help point you in the right direction.
Let me know what you decide or if you have other questions.
