How much would it cost to repair or replace a bad rack and pinion on a '92 Audi cs100?

Prices can vary considerable depending on your location and what needs done. The best prices I have found on rebuilt racks are $240.00 to $320.00 US for the rack. I would think that labor would run as much as the rack.

I'm sure you could spend nearly triple that at the dealer.
