Alternator won't charge battery

My starter goes out, I replace it, then my battery light comes on, and my battery runs dead. My alternator needs to be replaced, but when I replace it, it won't recharge my battery. I bought a new battery and alternator at that point, but my battery dash light still comes on. I suspect there is a fuse linkage between the alternator and the positive terminal on the battery but I cannot find it. Is that my problem here?

SORTA AIN'T WORKIN' THE WAY IT USED TO

SO I JUST SPENT 2O MINUTES FINDING A DIAGRAM--TAKING IT OVER TO PAINT RENAMING IT---PUTTING IT IN MY STUFF, SO I CAN FIND IT---DON'T EVEN KNOW IF IT WILL POST?

THEN I GET "BLOCKED" FROM SUBMITTING A CONTRIBUTION, SO WHAT IF I WUDDENT 1ST. IT'S INFO, I SPENT TIME FINDING, IT COULD BE HELPFUL?

NOW IT LOOKS LIKE I AIN'T BLOCKED?

HERE'S A DIAGRAM FOR THE CHARGING SYSTEM FOR YOUR RIG---LOCATIONS ARE USUALLY MARKED ON WHERE THE COMPONENTS CAN BE FOUND

GOOD LUCK!
