I BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY NISSAN MURANO THE BATTERY LIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON AND WHEN I TURN THE RADIO ON MY STARTS TO SLOW DOWN AND JUST ENDED UP SHUTTING OFF COMPLETELY AND I HAD T GET A JUMP OFF SO I REPLACE THE BATTERY WITH A NEW ONE AND IT WORKED FOR A COUPLE HOURS AND DID THE SAME THING SO I WENT TO ADVANCE AUTOS THEY CHECKED THE ALTERNATOR AND SAID IT WAS BAD SO I HAD SOMEONE LOOK AT MY TRUCK TO REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR BUT IM PURCHASING THE NEW ALTERNATOR MYSELF AND THEY OFFER TWO DIFFERENT ALTERNATORS FOR MY TRUCK I WAS WONDER IF YOU WOULD NO WHICH ONE FITS MY 2004 NISSAN MURANO?

You didn't say what's different about the two generators. Is one new and one is rebuilt? Do they have two different current ratings?

For future reference, the battery light means the battery is not being recharged by the generator, not that the battery is bad. You can do a simple, quick voltage test at the battery while the engine is running to verify that.
