I have a 1994 Civic Ex the car was running great with no problems at all, then it died when I was excellerating, when I got about 5 mph. It was not getting a spark so I replaced the desriputer and cap. The plugs were getting old so I replaced them to. I then checked for spark and sure enough it was sparking. The car still dosen't fire. The fuel pump is working and the distriputer si turning so it seems like the timeing belt is fine. A mechanic checked the timming with a gun and also said that was fine.

Hard to check the timing if the engine does not start.

Did you get a check engine light? Tell me, is the spark strong or weak? Look at it and tell us if the spark is a blue strong arc. This could be a position sensor such as the crankshaft or the camshaft.
