90 Pickup; they wouldn't give me the recall

Brought my truck in for the head gasket recall, and they wouldn't give it to me. They said it was no longer open. I called another local dealer who wouldn't give it to me either. What do I do?

You can talk to the Toyota zone office, or go to their website and complain.
Manufacturers, in general have a time limit on recalls unless they are safety related (I think).
It may also be the head gasket specified in the recall is no longer available.

Thanks very much for your help. After days of wrangling over it, they aren't going to give me the recall. First they told me it wasn't open. Then I called National customer care, and was told it never expires and I was eligible. I didn't get the name of the customer agent who told me that because I'm an idiot. I went back to my dealership, and they now told me my vehicle fit the specifications, but the warranty was expired. I called National customer care back, and they said it was open, but my vehicle may not fit the specifications, and that not all 3-VZE engines were recalled, but they didn't know whether mine wasn't recalled or they just didn't notify me, and that they couldn't do anything about it. This is where I threw my hands up.
