Hello I just got a 350 small block and I tore it down to bare block and had it bored out and I replaced it all with high performance gizmos you know the whole power trip thing lol. But I need to know how much pounds to torque the heads. If you could tell me that be great.

I have an early 70's sb 350 and the specs for it call for the head bolts to torque at 60-70 ft.-Lbs. Are these stock heads you are putting back on? Would be interested in what you are putting together as I am slowly building mine up, too. So far have been pretty stock going with an Weiand intake, holley carb, headers and just recently put a cam and lifters in from Summitt, next would be some head work, I believe. Good luck.

Well im outting 202 heads on it and I was gonna get some nice dome pistons but I did the math and theyd hit the top so I decided to go with the flat top pistons. And it turns out the engine I have is a 327 1970 corvet engine lol. I found this engine at an old ladys house and she wanted to get rid of it so I tore it apart and check the serial numers and it was a 327 so its gonna be way fun to build.
