700r4 transmission

I have a 94 K1500 4x4 with a 5, 7l / 700r4 transmission. I have had the transmission rebuilt once but the 2/4 band has burnt up again. What should I look for that is causing this problem and what is a fix for it.

With normal use the 2/4 band is OK. With heavy strain in a 4X4 mode it will burn. There are some heavy duty applications for that tranny. Ask the rebuilder to install better bands. Good luck
