A bit stuck on this work. There are two gas lines going down into the fuel pump, a big one which must be the feed, and a small one which is the return I guess. The big line disconnects with a quick connector setup on the end, which I was able to do although I had never seen this type of setup before and you would expect some kind of clamp across the hose. The little line goes into its fitting which has a plastic sort of snap retainer which I was able to slide back easily. The small line is a quarter inch and seems fused on the end of the fitting with no external clamp. After sliding the retainer back I tried to turn the fitting on this and lift it up no luck. Anyway, how does this small line which is the one toward the front of the vehicle disengage? Thanks, chuck

Both lines have a spring style disconnecxt. Go up the line a bit and see if it has one. If it has a clamp it is only a matter of forcing the hose off the hump in the line. Look at the new pump and see how it is made. Good luck
