The number 6 sparkplug blew out ( unthreaded - stripped) . What is the proper repair strategy ?? Does the head have to be changed? or, would a helicoil like repair suffice? I believe the head to be aluminum, is this correct?
Thanks for any help you may offer.

Yes, that has aluminum heads. The spark plug threads can be repaired on the vehicle, but EXTREME care must be taken not to get any metal in the cylinder. It can be done, but honestly I would have a professional do it.
