I have a 1987 f150 2wd, 4.9l that just stopped firing. I do have power to the coil and ign. Module.I have replaced the coil, TFI module and stator and still no spark. Im hoping its in the wiring and not the eec. Anyone with any Ideas? Or troubleshooting tips?
Thank you

Does the check engine light come on or flash? If so, you might be able to scan the EEC and come up with a code that would give you a clue as to what's happening.

I have an'88 F150 that quit on me for no spark. All it turned out to be was a piece of foam that had fallen down into the inner recesses of the dist, disrupting the PIP circuit. Which plays an important role in the operation of the hall effect switch.

No check engine light. I have power to the coil and the TFI. Not sure about injector pulse. I did find that I dont have power to the fuel pump either, but when bench tested, it works fine. Checked the ignition switch, inertia switch, and fuel pump relay. Im thinking eec power relay? What would cutoff power to fuel pump AND control spark? :
