1962, Mercedes, v-10 diesel engine

Does anyone know anything about the 1962, Mercedes, v-10 diesel engine? Apparently they have been used all over the world in trucks, though I have one in an old Italian built schooner that I just purchased and I'm trying to get some information on it -- ie. A manual, a source of parts, etc. It runs and I don't want to replace it, but I may have no choice if I can't find any info on it.

Can anyone lead me in the right direction as to where I can get more information on this engine?

YOUR ONLY source of info is a Mercedes dealer who can order all the info on the engine. Oddly enough VW bought tha engine design and it is now installed in a VW Toureg car.
