The person who owned the car before me changed the ignition lock so the key wont open the locks on the doors and there isn't a remote. So I locked the doors and unlocked it without the key. So the car alarm got set and now I can't start the car because I don't have a door key or remote.

Unfortunately the way to deactivate the system is to use the remote or the key in a door or the trunk. Basically you need to ground the smart entrance control unit on terminal 31.

Using the key will ground the circuit so the way to bypass it is to access this unit and back probe it with a safety pin and then ground that circuit.

I attached the info below on this system. Let me know if you have questions on how to do this if you want to try and bypass it and we can get more detail. Thanks

This is not the easiest thing to do but take a look at the attachments. You need to locate the Smart Entrance Control unit and then find the wire in cavity 31 and ground that wire. So you need to back probe that wire with a safety pin or other metal sewing needle then use a jumper wire and clip it to the probe and then touch that to a good ground like a bolt on the door hinge.

Let us know if you have questions on this.

It means you put a small safety pin or what is called a T pin in the back of the connector so that it goes down and contacts the metal terminal inside the connector. Then you can connect a wire to this probe and touch that to ground which will ground that circuit.

Take a look at the picture where I am pointing a red arrow at the T pin. Clearly you want to do this with the connector still connected so that it grounds the circuit when it is intact.

That is great feedback. Clearly I knew this should work based on the wiring diagrams but never actually tried it. So getting the feedback that it did is great and will help others. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
