Air intake tube

Good morning, I was attempting to replace my intake tube and noticed the plastic piece that helps the screw to stay in place is broken off. what would be the best and cheapest course of action?

I would go to the local junk yard and get another one. Bring the one you have with so you can match the part up. Or, if you can wait a few days, get on eBay and search for it.

If you can get it back on there, you might be able to use a high temperature glue or something to seal it up, but that would probably just be a temporary fix at best.
