Air conditioner if I turn the fan on high, the A/C turns off?

I finally found the drain plug! I drained the fluid and then put distilled water into the reservoir after that I added antifreeze. I checked yesterday and I had no antifreeze in the reservoir! What did I do wrong?

Hi,

Sounds like you may have measured it incorrectly. Is the reservoir a pressurized bottle? If so, then this is the only place to add coolant. Also, be sure to mix the coolant before adding it to the vehicle, it will not mix together equally inside the system. I say make more of the mix and add while the car is running, turn the heat on, and wait for the level to drop after the thermostat opens. Then check your level and turn off the car, wait an hour and see where the level is again.
