No cold air properly through the vents. Can tell the cold air is working, just not coming through the air vents Something blocking in under the dash. Heater works fine. A/C used to work well, but not anymore.

Hi,

If you are not getting airflow through the vents, it sounds like the mode door actuator may have failed.

I have to ask a couple of questions. Is there any airflow through the vents at all? If it seems restricted if there is a small amount, does it feel cold?

As far as the mode door actuator, I attached directions below for the replacement. I would first remove it and see if it responds when you select the vents. If it doesn't, then it likely needs to be replaced.

As far as the location, it is under the dash and not really easy to access, but it can be done. You will need to remove the cover under the dash to access it.

Take a look through the directions below. Let me know if you have questions.

If the air flow through the vents is present but not cold, the mode door isn't the issue, so let me know.

Take care and let me know what you find.

Joe
