The air compressor in the left rear by the tire is getting hot after driving for a while?

But I haven't used the compressor to air my tire up. So, I don't know why but I'm afraid of it catching fire. What do I do?

So, this air compressor runs the suspension control (ride height). If the relay sticks or one of the ride height shocks is leaking and the compressor must run constantly to keep the desired ride height. To be sure there are the wiring diagrams for the system which show the fuses that run the system which I would remove to see how long the car stays level. This can help us see what the problem is, if the car's level starts to sag you know you have a leak. Here is an image of the system so you can see how it works and what I am talking about. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
