Heater blows warm air from driver side and cold air on passenger side. I have added fluids, such as anti freeze, Disconnected the Battery to reset the computer, but did not work. How can I fix this problem?

This happens when a blend door actuator goes out this guide will help explain with diagrams below to show you how to fix your car.

Here are the blend door actuator locations and how to replace them. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I am having the same problem except my 05 terraza has 185,897 miles. The A.C. Was blowing hot air yesterday in majority of the vents. I went to an auto mechanic shop and had it recharged. Now I am told that hit air is blowing from the left driver side vent as well as the 2 vents (left and middle) directly above the cd-disc. Everywhere else it is blowing cold.

Try pulling fuse for heater inside car for 60 seconds with key on then put back in. If it doesn't work. It looks like the blend door actuator will need to be replaced.

I have a 2005 buick terraza. This has happened twice over a month. Both heat controls are on hot. The drivers side is cold and the passenger is hot. How do I fix?

The temperature is controlled by the use of an air mix door that is operated by an electric motor/actuator. This door can be jammed or the actuator can be inoperative or have stripped plastic gears internally.
