Okay, I purchased my car about four months ago and I'm unsure whats going on with my car. First of all my alternator belt wore off and my dad noticed that my harmonic balancer was broken. I bought that piece but have not yet installed it (waiting on bringing it into the shop). I also charged up my battery overnight and started my car up fine, being that said the next day I went to go check it out again to go to work it wouldn't start up, I heard clicking but no starting up, so I opened my hood checked out my battery (my battery was still good lights radio and everything was on) and fluids but as I was checking my coolant I accidentally dropped my radiator cap on top of my power steering belt and all of a sudden my horn started going off but it sounded more like an car alarm, but the thing is that I have a security light on my door BUT I don't have any sort of alarm system key or have any idea if I do or don't have a alarm system in my car. To disconnect the alarming horn sound I pulled out the fuse for it. I am really confused about whats going on with my car. What do I do?

No way we're gonna cut a wire I thought its gonna be easy looking at the EWD.

Look under the dash area. There should be a push button or a flip type toggle switch installed there somewhere probably left of your knee.

Put the key in the ignition, turn on just before
cranking, then press and hold in the button until
the LED in the dash comes on solid.

If it's the car's own horn that was/is sounding,
this would be a different thing, but in this case,
you should try this procedure first.
Go look around for the valet switch.

If no joy, also look in the car to see if a door ajar
light is on in the dash when you feel the car is locked
and armed. Even the trunk light could set off the factory alarm if left on.

Good Luck
