When should we do all the maintence requirements? I found maintence is expensive at the dealer place, is it safe to just go to a regular auto shop to do maintence? What is a AC filter? I remember everytime i bring my car in for oil change, all i did for the service was oil and filter change, someime rotation for tires?

You should have a maintenance booklet in your glove box. That book will tell you exactly what you need done to the vehicle at your given mileage.

Just hand the book to any privately owned shop, and they will know what to do with your vehicle.
