My car has been smoking only when i start my car. Its a white smoke and it smells really bad like burning oil. I brought it to a mechanic and they said it was the manifold and fixed it but they car is still doing the same thing. What do you think it is? is the car worth fixing?

It may be the valve stem oil seals gone hard allowing oil to seep through when cold, it's also a diesel.
