2007 Acura MDX Replacing Side Mirror Glass

How do you remove the mirror glass from the housing? i have tried sliding it and prying it up but it doesn't release

move mirror to fully upward position insert long thin flat-tipped screwdriver (wrapped with tape at end) under the mirror hold (A in pic). slide the tip of screwdriver between mirror holder and the actuator (B in pic) quickly twist the screwdriver to separate the mirror holder from the mirror actuator. if necessary, insert again and go further under the mirror holder and twist again until holder is separated from actuator/glass assembly .

Thanks for the help. The mirror is set to deep in the housing on the 2007 MDX to come in from the bottom, so I had to come in from the side. Coming in from the side is a plus because you can see what you're doing. Pry up the edge closest to you, slide the tip of screwdriver as far to the other edge as you can and twist to pry off the far side.
