I just put in a stage 3 clutch 3 weeks ago. I had a different mechanic put in a Brand New Type -R LSD Transmission yesterday. I took it for a test drive and when I start off in first it sequels like a slipping belt for a second and then everything is normal. It will then do it if I put it into the next gear aggressively or Down shift aggressively. No slipping no hesitation and besides the noise all is great? It sounds like a clutch engagement issue or disc to flywheel issue. Throughout bearing?
I just do not know what to go for. It is a blast to drive. I just do not want to damage my new tranny.

Any Ideas?

Are you sure its not a slipping belt? What did the transmission guy say he thought it was? The noise sounds odd to be a transmission noise.

It Only happens when I engage the clutch or feather the clutch when taking off? Then no more noise. Until I downshift or upshift Aggressively
