I noticed that the clutch engagement on my car seems to be on the high side. Is this an indication that the clutch is worn and will soon need replacement. It still shifts fine and smooth. My car has high mileage, but the clutch was replaced about 35,000 miles ago my driving habits have not changed. It is a 97 Acura CL 2.2 with 197,000 miles.

Not really, but it might indicate a beginning failure in the hydraulics of the clutch master or slave. I would watch it closely. There is no adjustment of the clutch pedal.
