1997 Acura CL Transmission went out suddenly

Transmission problem
1997 Acura CL 6 cyl Automatic 120000 miles

I was driving my vehicle and suddenly I got slippage and then the vehicle wouldn't move. It would seem like its not the transmission since it was perfectly fine, but what else could cause the transmission problem? Sensor?

you need to look at the fluid ,and see if it is a dark pink, if so bad news,and if the fluid is a light pink, then i would say sound like your torque converter clutch solenoid circuit.
