After driving on the freeway (usually, although sometimes on a city road), when I exit and stop at the bottom of the exit, when I attempt to go forward, the RPMs will go up, there is a hesitation for a second or two but the car will not go forward immediately. Is this a common problem? What needs to be done to fix the problem?

Hi Signature Wines,

Looks like you have some slippage with the clutches.

It might be as simple as not enough ATF or the ATF need replacement to a trans that is about to give way.

Check the basics first.

I am not sure what variant of trans is used but if it comes with a trans throttle cable, then some adjustment might solve the problem.
