I currently own a 1998 Acura CL 2.3 with 77,000 Miles on it. When I am driving the car my engine constantly misfires. The only time it does not misfire is when I am going 30-55 MPH in Gear 3 anything past that and the car becomes unsteady and starts stuttering. In the last 6 months I have gotten a Major Tune-Up, Got My Transmission Fluid Replaced Along with an Oilchange twice. I've also had to replace a Head Gasket, Radiator And Thermostat In the Past Year because my car overheated badly and they needed to replace those parts in order for it to run. I can't seem to find the problem with my car but I also don't want to spend an absurd amount of money guessing whats wrong with my car any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the $$$$$$$

Have the fuel pressure checked out-below are some that could cause your problem

Misfires can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.

Possible Causes of Engine Hesitation or Stumble:

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
