A/C system not working properly

So I just bought this vehicle listed above, and have an issue I have not been able to find an answer to yet. On the lowest two fan settings the A/C light turns on if I press it, but I can't hear the fan at all, which might simply because of how low the setting is. However, if I set my fan to high, or even the speed just below high the air conditioner button will not come on at all, but the fan definitely works. At no time does cold air blow out. I tried to add refrigerant to it, but it doesn't seem to have worked.

Good morning,

Do you have gauges to test the pressure in the system?

I attached a wire diagram for you to view for the blower motor. Do you have a test light for some checks?

Thanks for the reply.

I have the gauge. It never read low at all, just filled and "see instructions."
Picking up a test light today. First time using one.

I need the high and low side readings on the A/C system.

Let me know so we can do some checks.

Hey Roy,

So I ran the car today and all of a sudden the air conditioning seems to be working. The light comes on at every setting now, and my thermometer is reading 70°. Maybe I just needed to run it for a little while after I put Freon in it? Admittedly after I charged the system yesterday I didn't let it run for a while, because I had to do something else. Maybe that was the problem.

Okay, keep an eye on it and let me know if you have further issues with the A/C system.

Yeah, I spoke too soon.
So it'll work, sometimes, with a steady A/C light. Other times the A/C light will blink, then go out.
I did go ahead and change the fuse. No change.

We'll have to get back to you. I just realized that the gauge that I have is from a refrigerant refill kit, I believe it only fits on the low pressure side.

That is not accurate.

You need a set of gauges that has both the high and low side readings.
