AC problem

Air is blowing warmer on driver side than on pass side when calling for full cold. Does not have dual climate control so as far as I can tell there is only one door actuator. Actuator is working and door moves freely when I took the actuator off and worked it manually. When working manually no change in the problem. I assume the one actuator is suppose to move both doors(if there are 2 doors). Is it possible that what ever connects the 2 doors has failed? Any other suggestions would be apprecitated.

Thx

I think you are correct but it appears you actually have two actuators even though you have single zone temperature control. I am not seeing an option for dual temperature zone so basically the way this works is they have two doors with two actuators that work in tandem. A lot of times they will use a bar or rod to connect them but due to the location of these two actuators that was not possible. Basically this is set up for dual zone temperature but it is not an option on this vehicle. That means that this same unit is used in other vehicles or trim levels that dual zone is offered so they would not have to alter any thing other then the programming to control it. The hardware is all the same.

Take a look at the attachments for more detail. Thanks
