cannot find any actual specs as to how much compression i should have

Standard value 1,200 kPa (12.2 kg/cm2, 170 psi)
Limit 1,050 kPa (10.7 kg/cm2, 149 psi)

thank you. i guess that means 60 psi on all cylinders is bad

replaced heads with junkyard heads after timing belt broke

You may have bent them putting the head on if you didn't have everything in the correct position or rotated the engine with the belt off..

thanks i just wanted confirmation since the book only tells me lowest has to be atleast 75 % of highest

Nothing will run under 100 PSI.
Make sure you have it in correct timing.
