I've read several comments about fan only working on 1 speed, but mine does not work at all. Is this the resistor or the control. I cannot find a control for my car. I guess it could be a bad blower as well.
Any ideas?

Hi,

You are correct, it could be the controller or the motor. Also, when the blower motor resister goes bad, normally it will still work on high only.

Now, what we need to do is start at the beginning. First, I attached a pic below that shows two fuses. I need you to check the fuses first. In addition to checking the fuses, confirm there is power to the fuse.

IF there is power to the fuse, then see if there is power to the blue wire that connects to the blower motor.

The fuse is in the passenger compartment fuse box.

Let me know what you find.

Thanks for the response. As it turned out, the resistor had a burn mark on it. I replaced the resistor and it worked.

Hi,

Great to hear it's working. Interestingly, a bad resister will continue to work on high. Regardless, I'm glad you got it fixed. Thanks for letting me know.
