Hi,
This could be a couple of things. The throttle valve is operated by the throttle drive according to the instructions of the Engine Control Module (ECM). Signals are sent to the ECM from the accelerator pedal position sensor and throttle position is determined and set.
What we need to do here is this. The can-bus needs to be scanned so we can determine if there is an issue within the ECM circuit, or if there is a sensor fault.
CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all computers and modules are tied together via a few wires. The systems communicate via this network. If there is a diagnostic trouble code stored, this will retrieve it regardless of the module in which it's stored. Here is a video showing it being done.

If we don't get codes, then it will become a guessing game trying to determine what to test next.
Let me know if that is something you can have done. If not, we'll start at the accelerator pedal position sensor (APP) and work our way through.
Take care,
Joe
