Thanks for visiting 2CarPros.

The oil capacity of the compressor is 2.5oz of PAG 46 oil. Total system capacity is 8.0oz.

Hi Rudyc,

I attached all the appropriate documents including the process on how to balance the oil in the system. Please let me know if you need any more info. Also, just want to make sure you are performing an evacuation/recovery of the system before you take the compressor off and then again, with the new compressor so you get all the air and moisture out of the system and check for leaks with pulling it into a vacuum.

Also, just make sure you are measuring the amount of oil you are taking out of the old compressor because if it is more than the specified amount, then you need to use that.

Let me know if you have more questions. Thanks

I am in the middle of replacing the A/C compressor and accumulator. The chart you send me tells me I must add and additional 2.0 oz of oil if replacing the accumulator besides the 2.5 oz the compressor should have. Now when I removed the old compressor and try to drain the oil, nothing came out at all. What should be the amount I have to put in the system now, and whatever amount it is should all be put in the new compressor?
Thanks for your help.
