My brother pulled a prank on me! Now my truck listed above with the big one in it won't start it turns over, but it won't start. He said it had to do with something with the wires or something. I need to know if there's something he could have unplugged to make my truck not turn over please?

Hi,

Wow, that wasn't too funny. Did he show you anything that he touched? When you crank the engine, do you hear anything backfiring or anything odd? I ask because if he switched the spark plug wires, it won't run, but you would likely have backfiring, an odd sound from the engine when cranking, and so on.

If you could record it cranking so I can hear what the engine sounds like, I should be able to tell.

Let me know.

No, he said he unplugged something to do with the spark plugs. It just turned over normally, no backfire or anything. But won't start.

Hi,

I suspect he removed a coil wire. I have a question. You indicated this has a V8 engine which isn't factory. Is that correct? Could you take a few pictures of the spark plug wires, distributor, and connectors to the distributor? Also, if you could record it cranking and upload it for me to hear, it may help.

Let me know. Also, I need you to check for spark at the plugs.

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Let me know.
