I was wondering if you could send me a link or list for your 5.3 build on YouTube. My truck has a coolant leak which I'm pretty sure is the poor casting from GM on the 5.3 heads. At this point I'm planning on just rebuilding the engine and only want to make 350-400 hp for my daily drive on 87 pump gas and so far have really enjoyed your guys video.

Hey Ryan, jumping in here. Your YouTube videos are excellent, and is giving me to confidence to follow along on my own. A build list of all parts, tools, and lubricants needed would be an amazing addition to the videos. I would rather make one order and know that I will have everything needed for the rebuild.

Do you have something that you could share? My searching here on the site didn't turn anything up.

Thanks again for such detailed videos.

Hey there! Thanks so much for watching and coming on over to the site! So on the parts Summit is building us a page with all the parts used and that should be done soon. On tools I don't have a list handy but the only special tool was that oil pressure switch socket. The rest were typical mechanic's tools. For any lubricant situation on engine build I use Permatex Ultra Slick available on Amazon and Summit.

Thanks again for watching!

Best,
Ryan
